About the Site

After playing Cave Story it was clear to me how much I appreciated this game and I wanted to give something back to Pixel and other Doukutsu Monogatari fans and I decided to make a tribute site for the game.

This site is dedicated to Pixel and anything and everything Cave Story and Doukutsu Monogatari related. I hope you will enjoy the content you find here and I hope that this site will get more and more new fans interested in this game.

  • Moved from cavestory.org to cavestory.one, mostly because I am tired of stupid internet laws coming from the US, and could tell that the number of dumb internet laws was going to accelerate, so I wanted to move to a non-US tld that isn't a cctld (since a cctld would affect SEO). Yes I very much bemoan the loss of the .org tld, since I originally chose it because it was also the music format used in Cave Story. Mind you cavestory.org still redirects to the site, but this feels like the end of an era.
